Phil Johnson
Phillip R. Johnson (born June 11, 1953 in Oklahoma City, OK) is a writer, theologian, and popular blogger. He is the curator of The Spurgeon Archive - The web's largest collection of sermons by Charles Spurgeon. Johnson is also the executive director of Grace to You, a Christian media and radio ministry featuring the preaching ministry of Dr. John F. MacArthur. Dr. MacArthur and Phil Johnson have been working together since 1981, and Johnson edits most of MacArthur's major works.

Phil Johnson is an ordained minister and elder at the Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, CA, where is is co-teacher of the GraceLife adult Sunday school class. He is also a trustee of the Martyn Lloyd-Jones Recordings Trust in England.

Johnson finished his bachelor's degree at the Moody Bible Institute in 1975. He was an assistant pastor in St. Petersburg, FL and an editor for Moody Press before moving to Southern California to take his current position in 1983.
