Peter Laughner
Peter Laughner pioneered the primitive punk-rock genre, the new wave genre, and also the post-punk genre. However, his sound also encompassed roots rock, folk rock, and art rock. Laughner arose from a former desolate musical wasteland in Cleveland. Laughner's muse and inspiration has guided, lead, and or lended to many bands including Cinderella Backstreet, Peter & The Wolves, Friction, Rocket From The Tombs, and the early foundation of Pere Ubu. In addition to all this, he wrote for Creem magazine.
