Peter II, Duke of Bourbon
Peter II of Bourbon (1438 – 1503) was Duke of Bourbon and Auvergne from 1488 to his death, following his elder brothers John II and Charles II, Archbishop of Lyon. Peter married Anne of Beaujeu, daughter of King Louis XI of France; he and his wife were regents of France during the minority of Charles VIII. They had a son Charles, Count of Clermont (1476–1489), but he died as an unmarried young man and Peter was succeeded by his daughter Suzanne and his son-in-law Charles of Bourbon-Montpensier.
