Peter Fincham
Peter Fincham is the current controller of British television channel BBC One as of 2005. He took over from Lorraine Heggessey, who in turn succeeded him in his previous job as Chief Executive of the production company talkbackTHAMES.

On the 28th August 2005, he announced to the audience at the Edinburgh Festival regarding the current BBC 'Rhythm & Movement' idents that "We are looking at those"..."They came on air in March 2002 and it may well be that the time is coming to look at a new way of doing it."
