~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ He was known for several high-profile cases against British media outlets such as Private Eye, and Channel 4. His first libel suit was on behalf of a Labour member of Parliament, Bessie Braddock, who had been said to have "danced a jig on the floor of the House of Commons" by the Daily Express.
