Pete's Dragon
Pete's Dragon (first released on November 3, 1977) is a musical film from The Walt Disney Company. It is about a young boy named Pete (played by Sean Marshall) who enters a small fishing community in Maine in the early 20th century. His only friend is a green cartoon dragon named Elliott (voiced by Charlie Callas and animated by Don Bluth), who also acts as his sentinel. Only Pete can see and communicate with Elliot, which occasionally lands Pete in trouble with the locals.
