Pete Doherty (born March 12, 1979 in Hexham, Northumberland, United Kingdom) is the co-frontman and songwriter (along with Carl Barat) of the British punk and garage rock band, The Libertines. He was formerly the frontman for the band Babyshambles. Since 2003, he's become well known to the public at large as a result of his relationship with supermodel Kate Moss and his struggles with drug addiction.
