Permian High School is a public high school located in Odessa, Texas and is part of the Ector County Independent School District. It was opened in 1959 as the second "white" high school in then-segregated Odessa, after Odessa High School. Several years later, when Odessa schools were desegregated, the black Ector High School was closed and its students divided between the remaining two high schools.
