Perence Shiri


 
 

Perence Shiri, Air Marshal and Commander of the Air Force of Zimbabwe (AFZ). Notorious for his role in leading the Fifth Brigade genocides (Gukurahundi) in Zimbabwe in the early 1980's. He was also trained in England after the genocide with the British Government having full knowledge of what happened. To this day 20,000 people are still unaccounted for in the Tsholotsho area.

The chaff, i.e., "hundi", remains after the corn has been removed during the process of thrashing the corn, "kupura mhunga kana rukweza"....
