Pepper Keenan
Pepper J Keenan is the guitarist and vocalist for the heavy metal band Corrosion of Conformity. He also is guitar player for the band Down, along with Phil Anselmo from Pantera fame.

Keenan was born in Oxford, Mississippi at the time his dad was enrolled at Ole Miss but now lives in New Orleans. His dad, a former musician, is now a local Real estate Appraiser in New Orleans.

He plays guitar and sings a verse ("I don't know where I'm going..." etc.) on Metallica's cover of the Lynard Skynard song Tuesday's gone. He also recorded number of other songs in the same session, but this was the only one put on general release (on the album Garage Inc.), the others only being available as bootlegs.
