Peepshow (album)
Peepshow returned Siouxsie & the Banshees into more electronic territory, but still mixed in with "Juju"-style acoustic mixing Released in 1988, the album gave the Banshees their first entry on the Hot 100 in the US: "Peek-a-Boo" climbed to #53. "Peek-a-Boo," which is entirely backmasked (the band had to learn to play the song in reverse) also was the first number one on Billboard magazine's Modern Rock Tracks chart. The Banshees claim it to be their masterpiece. It has some superb moments, especially in tracks 3-5 and the last three tracks.
