Paul Rogers
The Honorable Paul Rogers is a former member of the US House of Representatives, where he served the citizens of Florida's eleventh Congressional District for 24 years. While a member of Congress, Mr. Rogers served as chair of the House Subcommittee on Health and the Environment from 1971-1979. Nicknamed "Mr. Health," during his time in office, he enacted legislation such as the National Cancer Act and the Clean Air Act in the 1970s. Currently, Mr. Rogers is a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Hogan & Harson L.L.P. He is also active in the National Osteoporosis Foundation, Friends of the National Library of Medicine, and the National Leadership Coalition on Health Care. Congressman Rogers served in the US Army from 1942-1946.
