Paul Robeson

Paul LeRoy Bustill Robeson (April 9, 1898 – January 23, 1976) was an American actor, athlete, singer, writer, and political and civil rights activist.

Death and burial

Paul Robeson died in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1976 at the age of 77 where he had been living with his sister. He was interred in the Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, New York.
