Patrick Poivre d'Arvor
Patrick Poivre d'Arvor (real name: Patrick Poivre) (born September 20, 1947) is a French TV journalist and writer. He is familiarily nicknamed PPDA.

He was born in Reims, France. He is the news anchor for the 8 PM news on TF1 and as such probably the journalist whose face is the most familiar to the French.
