Steve Young held the all-time record for highest single season rating when he scored a 112.4 in 1994. That record, along with virtually every other significant quarterbacking record, was shattered in 2004 by Peyton Manning, who posted a rating of over 122. Young is the only player to have a career mark of over 100.0.
