Parker Posey

Parker Christian Posey (born November 8, 1968) is an American actress, often referred to as the girl with a thousand faces; best known for her many appearances in independent films.

She was born in Laurel, Mississippi and named by her father after the 1950s supermodel Suzy Parker. She and her twin brother, Chris, were raised in Mississippi and Louisiana.

She attended Purchase College where she roomed with fellow actress Sherry Stringfield and, like Stringfield, her first role was on a soap opera. In Posey's case, it was on As the World Turns.
