Parker County is a county located in the state of Texas. As of 2000, the population is 88,495. Its county seat is Weatherford6, and the county is part of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Parker County is named for Isaac Parker, a state legislator who introduced the bill that established the county.
