Paras of Nepal
Paras of Nepal (b 1974?) is the current Crown Prince of Nepal. Paras is unpopular in Nepal because of a prior history of debauchery, drug abuse and violence including at least one incident of vehicular homicide for which he was never prosecuted. On June 1 2001, he was at the royal palace when, then, Crown Prince Dipendra reportedly went on a killing spree, murdering King Birendra and most of the Royal Family, before dying of wounds 3 days later. This allowed his father, Gyanendra to become King making Paras Crown Prince. These circumstances, along with his previous history and the fact he was the only member of the Royal family present to survive the massacre unscathed, has lead to rumors and speculation that he was the true perpetrator of the crime.
