Parallel Lines

Parallel Lines was the third album release from the band Blondie in 1978, and also their most popular and best selling. It was the first album to be produced by Mike Chapman, who continued producing the band's albums until The Hunter in 1982. The album reached number 1 in the United Kingdom in September 1978 and has one of the most recognised and era-defining covers of all time. It contains most of the classic and well-known Blondie hits, including "Heart of Glass", "Hanging On The Telephone" and "One Way Or Another". It also first brought about the term "Power Pop", which was used by reviewers at the time to describe the album. There are also some brilliant non-releases from this album, including "Pretty Baby", "Just Go Away" and "I'm Gonna Love You Too".
