Paperinik
Paperinik (also known as Duck Avenger, Superduck, PK, and Phantom Duck) is Donald Duck's alter ego. A secret identity created, originally to let him take revenge at night of the people who used to exploit him during the day, like Scrooge McDuck or Gladstone Gander. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ In 1969, many children complained to the publishers of the Italian version of the Donald Duck comics Mondadori that Donald was always the loser in their stories. Writer Guido Martina and artist Giovan Battista Carpi responded by giving Donald a superhero alias named Paperinik. Paperinik was intended as a pun on Diabolik (combined with "Paperino", Donald's Italian name), a then popular fictional villain. They introduced Paperinik in the two-part, 60-page story "Paperinik il diabolico vendicatore" ("Paperinik the Diabolical Vindicator") published between June 8 and June 15, 1969.
