Paper, Allied-Industrial, Chemical & Energy Workers International Union
The Paper, Allied-Industrial, Chemical & Energy Workers International Union (PACE) was formed in 1999 with the merger of the United Paperwokers International Union (UPIU) and the Oil, Chemical, and Atomic Workers International Union(OCAW). The union now represents about 275,000 workers and has approximately 1,500 local groups in the U.S. and Canada.
