Palladian window
A Palladian window or Venetian window is a specific type of window. Although, as its names might suggest, it can indeed be found in Venice and in the work of Andrea Palladio himself as well as in the Palladian style popular in Great Britain from the 17th century on, the window has been popularly used in many other sorts and styles of architecture as well. It consists of three lights set side-by-side, the outer two of which are simple rectangles while the middle one sports a semicircular top which springs from the level of the other two lights' upper limit.
