Ottavio Quattrocchi
Ottavio Quattrocchi is an Italian businessman accused of involvement in the Bofors Scandal, the 1980s bribery scandal involving the Swedish arms manufacturer Bofors and prominent Indian politicians, which led to the defeat of the Congress Party in the elections 1989. Quattrocchi was a friend of Rajiv and Sonia Gandhi and it is claimed that Quattrocchi received 3 percent of the money paid by Bofors for the contract to sell howitzers to the Indian Army.
