Oscar Robertson


 

Oscar Palmer Robertson (born November 24, 1938 in Charlotte, Tennessee) was one of the greatest basketball players in history. Coaching legend Red Auerbach described Robertson as the most versatile player he had ever seen play.

The ultimate offensive player?

Robertson is also arguably the greatest offensive producer ever. Assuming every assist creates 2 points (a number which is actually a bit too low, as an assist can also lead to a 3-point-basket), a table which calculates "created points per game" can be created.
