Oppera
Oppera is the name of a band fronted by pop singer Martika and musician Michael Mozart. Martika, for whom major success came about primarily between 1988 and 1991, has long maintained a devoted base of fans despite being out of the public eye. Around 2000 she developed a web presence and released tracks exclusively online. In 2003 Oppera was formed along with a high-concept website called "Aria 51", presided over by an animated character named General Mayhem (All of the promotional endeavours associated with the band are named with puns relating to the world of music).

After much hemming and hawing a debut album, "Violince", was released in 2004. It is available exclusively on the web through outlets like Amazon.com. The sound of the band combines goth music with pop/rock and heavily features Martika's vocals.
