Old Man (song)
"Old Man" is a song written and performed by Neil Young on his 1972 best-selling album, Harvest.

The song was written for the caretaker of the northern-California Broken Arrow Ranch, which Young purchased for $350,000 in 1970. The songs compares a young man's life to an old man's and shows that the old man was once like this young man. The line "Old man look at my life, I'm a lot like you" makes it kind of obvious. But this is Neil Young, so what seems obvious is probably wrong.
