Off the Alley
Off the Alley was a starting point for many punk rock bands throughout the 1980s and 1990s located on Chicago's southside at 18061 South Dixie Hwy, Homewood, Illinois behind a local record shop called Record Swap. The small venue was visited by such music industry legends as Chuck Paugh, and punk bands such as Smoking Popes and Screaching Weasle regularly played at this location.
