Oberlin, Ohio
Oberlin CollegeOberlin is a city located in Lorain County, Ohio, to the south and west of Cleveland. Oberlin is perhaps best known for being the home of Oberlin College, a liberal arts and music school with approximately 3,000 students. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 8,195.

Oberlin is governed by a city manager and a seven-member council which is elected to two-year terms in a non-partisan election. The current city manager is Robert DiSpirito.
