Obata Masamori
Obata Masamori (????)(d. 1582), also known as Nobusada, was one of Takeda Shingen's 'Twenty-four Generals', his most trusted commanders. Obata, along with Takeda Katsuyori, led the cavalry vanguard at the battle of Mikata ga Hara in 1572, and led the largest Takeda cavalry contingent in the battle of Nagashino three years later against Oda Nobunaga. He died in 1582 from wounds suffered at Nagashino.
