NWA Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship
The NWA Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship started out as the NWA Eastern States Heavyweight Championship in 1970. The name was changed in 1973. The title was abandoned by Jim Crockett Promotions in 1986. It was revived by the National Wrestling Alliance in 1996 for its Mid-Atlantic territory where it is still defended today.
