Northwestern State University

Northwestern State University is a public four-year university primarily situated in Natchitoches, Louisiana, with a nursing campus in Shreveport and general campuses in Fort Polk/Leesville and Alexandria. Commonly abbreviated NSU or N'western (La.). Its mascot is Vic the Demon, and its athletic teams go by the Demons. It is a part of the University of Louisiana System.
