Northborough (town), Massachusetts
Northborough is a town located in Worcester County, Massachusetts.
History
Northborough was first settled in 1672 and was officially incorporated in January of 1776. It was originally the north "borough" of neighboring Marlborough in the 1650's, but became the north borough of Westborough in 1717. The first Meeting House was established in 1746, with the legal governor of the town being called the Town Minister. The first Town Minister was Reverend John Martyn.
