The City of North Vancouver, British Columbia, is a waterfront municipality on the North Shore of Burrard Inlet. Although it has significant industry of its own, including shipping, chemical production, and film production, the City of North Vancouver is usually regarded as a suburb of Vancouver. With a population in 2001 of 44,303, the City of North Vancouver is ranked number 94 in Wikipedia's List of the 100 largest cities in Canada by population. (Its population in 2005 is 48,000 http://www.cnv.org/.)
