North Syracuse is a village located in Onondaga County, New York. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 6,862.

Demographics

As of the census{{GR|2}} of 2000, there are 6,862 people, 2,999 households, and 1,751 families residing in the village. The population density is 1,351.8/km² (3,496.2/mi²). There are 3,137 housing units at an average density of 618.0/km² (1,598.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 94.93% White, 1.36% African American, 0.86% Native American, 1.08% Asian, 0.03% Pacific Islander, 0.23% from other races, and 1.52% from two or more races. 0.99% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
