North Miami, Florida
North Miami is a city located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 59,880. As of 2004, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau is 58,750 . The city sits on Biscayne Bay, and hosts the Biscayne Bay campus of Florida International University. It is also home to the Oleta River State Park, which is the state's largest urban park.
