Nocturnes
Nocturnes is an orchestral composition by the French composer Claude Debussy. It was completed December 15, 1899 and was first performed in Paris on October 27, 1901. It is scored for three flutes, two oboes, English horn, two clarinets, three bassoons, four horns, three trumpets, three trombones, tuba, cymbals, snare drum, tympani, two harps, female chorus, and strings.
