Nocturne
A nocturne (from the French for "nocturnal") is usually a musical composition that is inspired by, or evocative of, the night.

Like most terms of classical music, "nocturne" has found applications in popular culture. For example, "Nocturne" is the title of an album by Siouxsie & the Banshees. "Nocturne" is also the title of Secret Garden's winning 1995 Eurovision Song Contest entry, and it is also the name of a horror PC game. In Japan, , is a video game for the PlayStation console. The "Nocturne of Shadows" was a song in the poplular , a game for the Nintendo64.
