NNDB

NNDB, ostensibly standing for Notable Names Database, produced by Soylent Communications, is a database of biographical details of notable people. It describes itself as an "intelligence aggregator" containing links between people, and vital statistics about those people – such as birth, death, job history, and biography – also crosslinked. As of August 2005, NNDB contains more than 40,000 entries encompassing nearly 15,000 profiles of individuals. As with any large project, it contains inaccuracies. Readers may suggest additions or corrections which are later vetted by an NNDB staff member.
