Nineteenth Century (periodical)
Nineteenth Century was a literary magazine founded in 1877 by Sir James Knowles. In 1901, the title was changed to Nineteenth Century and After. It was famously asserting shortly before the outbreak of World War I in 1914 that 'the only court in which nations' issues can and will be tried is the court of God, which is war.'
