Nightrage

Nightrage is a Swedish melodic death metal band featuring Greek axemen Marios Iliopoulos and Gus G. Their first release, Sweet Vengeance, was released in 2003 and featured drummer Per M (of The Haunted), and bassist Brice Leclercq. Rounding out the band on vocals is the legendary Tomas Lindberg (ex-At The Gates). Sweet Vengeance also featured clean guest vocals by Tom Englund of Evergrey fame.

Their second release, Descent Into Chaos, was released in 2005 and had a change of line up in the rhythm section. Now playing drums is Fotis Benardo (ex-Septic Flesh) and on bass is Henric Carlsson, who also plays in the band Cipher System. Mikael Stanne, of Dark Tranquillity, provided a clean vocal section on the track "Frozen."

As of July 10th, 2005, Tomas Lindberg (vocals) has decided to leave the band due to the lack of time and other projects. Replacing him on vocals will be Jimmie Strimell, whose influences range from bands such as Death to Pantera.
