Nicole Brown Simpson

Nicole Brown Simpson (May 19, 1959June 12, 1994) was murdered at her home in Los Angeles, California. Her murder (along with the murder of fellow victim and friend Ronald Goldman on that same night) was notable because Simpson was the ex-wife of American football player O. J. Simpson. O.J. Simpson was criminally indicted for the Nicole and Goldman murders, tried and acquitted in a highly controversial verdict. In a subsequent civil trial, he was found financially liable for their deaths and ordered to pay 12.5 million dollars to the Brown family and 12.5 million dollars to the Goldman family.
