Nick Frost

Nick Frost (March 28 1972) is a British actor and comedian most famous for his work with Simon Pegg.

Before starring as Mike in Spaced, Frost worked as a waiter. Born in Essex, Frost went on to comedy famedome as Tim's army-obsessed best friend in the groundbreaking UK comedy show Spaced, aired on Channel 4 in 1999 and lasting for 2 seasons.

In 2002, Frost wrote and presented a TV show called Danger! 50,000 Volts!; a documentary show exposing the viewer to many 'Dangerous' situations, and showing the viewer sensible and comprehensible ways of avoiding said dangerous situation, blended with Frost's unique humour throughout.

In the DVD release of Danger! 50,000 Volts!, a 30 minute spin-off episode called Danger! 50,000 Zombies! can be found as an extra. This episode sees Frost pair up with more with his regular teammate Simon Pegg as they deal with the situation of a zombie outbreak, and what you should do in this situation.

In 2004, Nick Frost and Simon Pegg collaborated with Edgar Wright to create Shaun of the Dead, a rom-com-zom (romantic comedy, with zombies), following the life of Shaun, a dissaffected store clerk in risk of losing his girlfriend of his lack of enthusiasm for life, and trying to repair their relationship while enduring a zombie outbreak. Frost played Ed, the lovable oaf, best friend to Shaun. The movie was a blockbuster, and is currently rated 7.9/10 on the IMDb user rating system.

Frost is currently working on La Triviata, a show about a pub-quiz team, in which he plays the character Ben Cherry, alongside Simon Pegg. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are both members of their own pub-quiz team, named the QWA; Quizzas With Attitude.

Both Nick Frost and cohort Simon Pegg are working on a new feature film named Hot Fuzz, which is set to be an action & cop genre movie, rumoured to be taking place in the countryside. The film will be directed by Edgar Wright, who was also the director of Shaun of the Dead, and played a zombie cameo with Simon Pegg in George Romero's Land of the Dead.
