Nicholas Turturro

Nicholas Turturro (Born January 29, 1962 in Queens, New York) is an American film and televison actor. He is best known for playing Officer/Det. James Martinez in the TV program NYPD Blue.

Turtorro's brother, John Turturro, is also an actor, known for playing Herb Stempel in the film Quiz Show. His cousin, Aida Turturro, plays Janice Soprano in The Sopranos.
