Nicholas Bullen
Nicholas James Bullen (Nic) is one of the founders of the early grindcore band Napalm Death together with Miles Ratledge in 1982 then under the name Civil Defence. He played the bass guitar and sang. After recording the first half of Scum - the debut album - he left the band. Later he joined the project Scorn with another former Napalm Death member Mick Harris.

Bullen was married to Ruth, an graphic artist who made several covers for Scorn albums. She is a singer as well and she can be heard on OLD's/Fluxe's album Protoplasmatic, which is released by Relapse records. Bullen left Scorn in 1995, and joined the band Germ. He also released an album with Painkiller's bassist and avant-garde producer Bill Laswell which is called Bass Terror. It is released through SubRosa records. Bullen has started another solo project called Umbilical Limbo.
