Newtown is a borough located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. As of the 2000 census, the borough had a total population of 2,312. It sits on the western edge of the Trenton, New Jersey metropolitan area, and can also be regarded as being part of the larger Philadelphia metropolitan area.
