New York Law School
New York Law School ("NYLS") is an independent law school located at the heart of Manhattan a couple miles north of the World Trade Center site. It is an American law school with over 1,500 students. NYLS' Manhattan location, in the midst of the country's largest concentration of government agencies, courts, law firms, banks, corporate headquarters, and securities exchanges, has shaped the NYLS' identity and curriculum.

NYLS has a full-time faculty of approximately 50 men and women plus an adjunct faculty, consisting of attorneys, judges, and other public officials. About 1,500 students study at NYLS. In the Evening Division, many students already have careers in other fields. NYLS students are 54 percent women, and 22 percent minority (as of 2005).
