New York Law School
New York Law School ("NYLS") is an independent law school located at the heart of Manhattan a couple miles north of the World Trade Center site. It is an American law school with over 1,500 students. NYLS' Manhattan location, in the midst of the country's largest concentration of government agencies, courts, law firms, banks, corporate headquarters, and securities exchanges, has shaped the NYLS' identity and curriculum.

NYLS offers courses through full-time day, and part-time day and evening divisions leading to J.D. degrees. It also offers a joint degree program, the J.D./M.B.A., with Baruch College, City University of New York, and joint Bachelor's /J.D. programs with Stevens Institute of Technology and also with Adelphi University. Since 2003, NYLS began offering the Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation, becoming one of only two law school in the New York City area to offer this advanced training to tax attorneys.
