New Found Power

New Found Power was the debut album by the band Damageplan.

New Found Power was also the original title of the band Damageplan but was changed prior to the album's release.

Many of the lyrical themes on New Found Power very obviously deal with the breakup of Pantera (of which drummer Vinnie Paul and guitarist Dimebag Darrell were an integral part) and the forming of Damageplan. This is most evident in the songs Breathing New Life and New Found Power, although almost all songs contain what appear to be references to Pantera and Phil Anselmo.
