NetHack is a roguelike computer game. It is an evolution of an earlier game called Hack which was itself an evolution of Rogue. The name NetHack stems from the fact that its development was originally (and continues to be) coordinated through the Internet; it is not a multiplayer game.

There are also enhanced graphical interfaces such as the isometric SDL based Falcon's Eye/Vulture's Eye and also the OpenGL based noeGNUd.
