Neonomianism
Neonomianism - Literally referring to "new law", in Christian theology is the doctrine that the Gospel is a new law the requirements of which we fulfill by faith and repentance, most often associated with the theology of Richard Baxter (1615-1691).

Opponents believe neonomianism changes the free Gospel Offer into another self-salvation by human works scheme; i.e., men are not saved by Christ, men are saved by our obedience to Christ by producing faith and repentance in ourselves.
